Solutions

This section publishes decisions of the competent government bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic related to the regulation of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and living modified organisms (LMOs).

Solutions may include:

  • import, export or transit permits;
  • permissions for scientific use;
  • risk assessment decisions;
  • refusal to issue permits;
  • other regulatory decisions in the field of biosafety.

Publication of decisions is carried out in order to ensure transparency and inform the public in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic and the country’s obligations under the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety.

There are no published solutions at this time. Information will be posted as appropriate decisions are made by the competent authorities.
